Such is the supreme ride comfort of the new Phaeton that every journey becomes an experience of pure driving enjoyment rather than simply

In addition, thanks to assistance systems fitted as standard, for example the Continuous Damping Control (CDC) air suspension system, it enables the vehicle to deliver the ultimate in smoothness of ride, reducing to a bare minimum pitch and roll movements, which occur when accelerating, braking suddenly or cornering. You can manually raise the chassis if you wish for an even smoother ride, and at high speeds it automatically lowers again to reduce the air resistance.
Every new Phaeton is equipped with the sophisticated 4MOTION fourwheel drive system, which adjusts the distribution of the drive power according to the road conditions within fractions of a second.
