At the centre of the interior is the Audi Virtual Cockpit which puts everything you need directly in front of you. With peak torque of 500Nm, a 0-62mph time of just 4.7 seconds and a top speed of 155mph, the performance leaves nothing to be desired. When you're commanding this level of power, the Sportback stays firmly within your control thanks to quattro technology regulating the four-wheel-drive chassis and eight-speed tiptronic as standard.
Audi safety
As you'd expect, the S5 Sportback additionally features Audi's most distinctive safety features to maintain your security in motion. Playing an important role in the next step towards piloted driving is the adaptive cruise control (ACC) Stop&Go system including traffic jam assist. It relieves drivers in slow-moving traffic up to a driving speed of 40.4 mph by assuming the tasks of braking and accelerating the car, and it also temporarily takes charge of steering it on better roads. The predictive efficiency assistant, which evaluates GPS information from the car’s immediate surroundings, helps to save fuel by giving specific driving advice – a unique feature in this segment. As well as this, other assistance systems include turn assist, park assist, cross traffic assist rear, exit warning, camera-based traffic sign recognition, Audi active lane assist and Audi side assist.
